FALL PRINTS:
A SEASONAL STORY

Motifs, Mood & Meaning for Fall 2025

In our last chapter, we used fabric to bring complementary color pairings to life across this season’s Six Color Families. Now, we shift from color to pattern as we move from palette to print. With a new focus on Fall’s custom print direction, it is time to carry those lessons forward and apply what we’ve learned about color and pairing to create prints that tell a deeper, more meaningful story.

To support the 2025 Fall Trends Series, A1’s Custom Print department developed a collection of exclusive designs rooted in nature, home, heritage, and nostalgia. Guided by seasonal trend research, each print was thoughtfully constructed to reflect the spirit of the season. Base cloths were selected not only as a printing surface, but as part of the story by adding texture, depth, and mood to every piece.

The motifs in this collection blend rustic roots with modern refinement. Inspired by the familiar, harvest, home, and nature, they’re elevated through careful use of line, scale, and composition.

Just as color palettes set the tone for Fall events, custom prints bring those tones to life. They add character and a sense of place to every surface. Our Fall 2025 print collection is more than decorative. It’s intentional. Every theme, texture, and color treatment was chosen to reflect the layered beauty of the season. We’ve focused on the warmth of handcrafted textures, the familiarity of heritage motifs, and the quiet confidence of earthy palettes. Color gives us the tone. Print shapes the story. And this Fall, the strongest stories are grounded in nature. Let’s explore the 7  design motifs that set the mood and meaning for the 2025 Fall Custom Print collection.

A Cohesive Print Story

Together, these themes, styles, and layouts form the narrative framework for Fall 2025. They’re more than trends. They’re tools for creating meaning.

Each print developed by A1 this season reflects not just a visual trend, but an emotional tone. Whether structured or scattered, vintage or modern, each one contributes to a broader story of seasonality, warmth, and thoughtful design.

Print isn’t just an accent. It’s a storyteller. And this season, it’s telling stories of quiet comfort, natural beauty, and the enduring richness of Fall.
